Gaming Update 9/20/10

Well, it's finally over, I've beaten Final Fantasy VI. I have to say, it was a great game, I really enjoyed the end dungeon and all the bosses the game threw at me. I did some extreme grinding though, so they didn't really pose that much of a problem. In fact, none of the bosses there killed me, only the random enemy encounters did! However, as I mentioned before, I'm playing the Game Boy Advance version, so it looks like I still have another dungeon called the Dragons' Den and something called the Soul Shrine to go back and beat.

Gaming Update 9/17/10

Ok guys, so I'm back with another gaming update on FFVI. I finished up all the sidequests and am now just level grinding so that I am able to take on the final dungeon and the final boss, Kefka. It's not too thrilling, but I am building up some powerhouses that will be indispensable at the end of the game. Sabin in particular is a big damage dealer with his Phantom Rush (playing GBA version btw) blitz, and I'm having Terra and Celes be my big magic users. I'm also guessing that Edgar and Cyan will be in my top tier of characters. Others, on the other hand, such as Strago, Relm, and Umaro, aren't going to be used much, if at all. That's it for now, I'll update you guys some more later once I get started on the final dungeon.

Gaming Update 9/13/10

Ok guys so I've been playing farther into FFVI, I've gotten past the continent of ruin or whatever it's called and am now doing a bunch of side quests to get all my characters back and get ready for the end game. It's pretty fun, there are lots of new magics to learn so grinding is pretty interesting. I accidentally Shadow though, it's my first time playing so I didn't know any better so it's probs ok. Definitely recommend this game still, my bros got any recommendations for games to play when I'm finished with this one?

Metroid Other M - Should I get it?

Metroid Other M was released a couple days ago I believe, the only thing I've seen on it are the trailers and it looks pretty cool imo. I was wondering if any of you guys have bought it, or at least played it? I need some recommendations on this game from my bros, and if there's any other tight Wii or PS3 games that have recently come out or are coming out soon, let me know about those too.

Gaming Update 9/3/10

Hey guys, how are all of you? It's been a couple of days since my last gaming update so I figured I'd do another. I'm still playing Final Fantasy VI, I'm currently at the World of Ruin. It's pretty tough, I'm planning on spending a lot of time just grinding so that I'm able to do the next parts of the game with relative ease. I've already tried the Ultima Weapon battle, he's still a little tough for me so I'm figuring I need to level up more. I'll make sure to report back in when I start progressing through the story some more. See all of you guys later :)

Gaming update 8/29/10

Alright guys so I'm back with another gaming update here. I'm still playing FFVI, so apparently the empire is like on our side or something? So I go to the empire city and they're all nice and give us dinner and stuff. Then we go on a boat (I'm on a boat) and then we go to this other city and meet some old dude. Anyways we find some magic friends but then like kefka and the king of the empire trick us. Then they kill leo and setzer comes to save us and then edgar is like a pedophile or something? He said he'll wait till she's 18 but she's 10 now and he's obviously attracted to her so this can't end well. Well, I'll play some more and let you all know how the game goes.

gaming update 8/28/10

I am currently playing Final Fantasy VI. It's pretty cool. I like Setzer. He has a whirlybird. Or he did, but then it was all "oh noez, we're gonna crash." then I saved the game and turned it off to take a break and write this short piece on it. i hope to work for game magazine one day.

the testing environment

hello ladies and gentlemen let me introduce one of my most favoritest past times to you. the test environment is one of my favorite mmorpgs. it is similar to world of warcraft and runescape. in it you must save the colors from puzzles. you do this by solving puzzles. you have to work together or you will not win. it requrieres hard thinking abilities and maybe some mathematicals. i rate it ages 13 + so that you are smart enough to win it. overall 1000000/19 very good i would like to see more.
