Movie Review - Reservoir Dogs
Hey guys, I recently watched the movie Reservoir Dogs and I'm here to give a review on it. It's a crime film, and more importantly, the debut of director Quentin Tarantino. The movie is pretty engaging in that it shows events leading up to and immediately after, but not during the execution of an armed robbery of a jewelery store. The movie opens with the group of men eating breakfast at a diner right before they go do the robbery, and right after the opening credits it shows one man driving a car with another man lying in the back seat, bleeding to death. I really enjoyed how the story was told, with a combination of flashbacks and conversation describing what lead up to and transpired during the robbery. The characters deduce pretty early on that there's a good chance that one of them was an inside cop, and there's a lot of suspense built as details are shared between characters and the pieces of the puzzle fall together. There's also a fair amount of action and intense standoffs, which also contribute to the suspense of the movie. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this movie to fans of Tarantino's other movies, as well as people who enjoy crime movies with a lot of suspense.

ReplyDeleteProbably one of the only Tarantino films I liked.
ReplyDeleteInteresting,nice post,supportin'
ReplyDeleteIs it an homage or straight up plagiarism? Reservoir Dogs is a great movie, but watch "City On Fire" and decide for yourself if Tarantino is a hack or not.
